Technical Services
The Technical Services Department of the Hunt Library is comprised of the Acquisitions, Cataloging and Serials units. The department is responsible for evaluating, purchasing, processing and maintaining materials for the Daytona Beach library which supports the information needs of the Daytona Beach Campus as well as the Embry-Riddle Worldwide community.
The Technical Services Department helps ensure the effective operation of the Hunt Library and supports the Library's mission
- through the timely acquisition of library materials;
- by providing effective, accurate tools that assist the library's users in locating information resources;
- by organizing and maintaining information resources in all formats and processing them in a timely manner.
