Library Facilities and Equipment

Facilities

The library contains over 42,000 square feet in a three-level design. In addition to individual study carrels, the building contains small group study rooms, conversation/leisure reading areas, and a Starbuck's coffee shop. See the floor plan for details.

Library Instruction Room: The Reference staff teaches students elements of library research through user education classes. This instruction is tailored to the individual research paper/oral report requirements of the course. Coordinated individually with each instructor, the lecture is delivered in the Library Instruction Room when it is the most appropriate for students.

Study Rooms: Currently, the Hunt Library has twelve study rooms with four located on each of the three floors. The study rooms are for the exclusive use of active ERAU-affiliated students, faculty, or staff for individual or small group study purposes. See the Study Room Use Policy for details.

Equipment

Copiers: The library has microfilm and microfiche readers/printers as well as photocopiers. Black and white copies are $0.10 each if using cash, or $0.05 each if using the Eagle card. Color copies are $0.50 each. A change machine is located on the wall between the photocopiers and the circulation desk. The copiers also offer the ability to scan black and white documents to PDFs, which are then emailed to you (please visit Using the Library Photocopiers to Scan to Email for instructions).

Computers and Internet Access: Twenty-eight internet-only and fifteen lab-imaged public computers provide access to the catalog and databases. Wireless internet access is also available within the library.
