Air Transport Intelligence (ATI) (Database)
Contains individual airline profiles which provide information on personnel, financial results, fleet, maintenance, ownership, traffic statistics, routes, and more, as well as current full-text newsletter and magazine articles about the airline industry. Prior to using this database, print the online instructions for your campus:

Form41 (CD-ROM)
Form41 data is restricted to currently enrolled ERAU students.
Provides monthly and quarterly traffic and financial statistics for all carriers who file Form41 reports. For additional information about the Form41 report, see Interpreting, Printing, and Citing the Form41 Report. To obtain the password, contact Reference Services (see Getting Help below).
Mergent Online (Database)
Provides company information drawn from annual reports and Mergent Manuals. Prior to using this database, print the Online Instructions for your campus:

World Aerospace Database (via Aviation Week Intelligence Network (AWIN) Database)
Provides fleet details for the airline, including the number of aircraft leased in and leased out. Prior to using this database, print the online instructions for your campus:

Once you have printed the Online Instructions, refer to Section F -- Find and Print World Aerospace Database (WAD) Organization Profiles for instructions on obtaining the WAD listing for your airline.
Airport Activity Statistics
Airport Activity Statistics provides, if available, total aircraft departures, enplaned revenue passengers, and enplaned revenue tons of freight and mail from U.S. airports only for 1995 to the present, including a glossary which defines frequently used terms.

Additional Databases
To find current journal, magazine, and newspaper articles about your carrier, we recommend a few other library databases in addition to the ones listed above. These databases contain many complete (full-text) items, and you may be able to obtain non-full-text items through the library's document delivery service.
We have created web-based online instructions to assist you with searching. The Online Instructions, designed to be printed out, provide you with step-by-step directions for accessing the databases, performing a search, and contacting the library to get materials (if necessary).
To access the databases and their Online Instructions, do the following:
- Go to ERNIE (http://ernie.erau.edu/).
- Log in with your Account ID and password.
- Scroll down to Admin Services (if you do not see Admin Services, refresh/reload your browser window).
- Click on Library Databases; the Databases page will open in a new window.
- Locate the following databases:
- Business & Company Resource Center
- Jane's World Airlines
- JSTOR (Business periodicals)
- LexisNexis Academic
- ProQuest
- If you are unfamiliar with a database, click on the Online Instructions link for your campus for search guidelines and tips.
- Connect to the database by clicking on the name of the database.
Suggested Keywords: In searching the databases for material on your topic, we recommend using the following keywords in addition to the airline's name. You may need to experiment with different terms or combinations of terms to find exactly what you are seeking.

Types of Information That May Not Be Available
The following information about your airline may not be available:
- Whether or not the airline outsources its maintenance
- Number of leased gates and cost
- Labor union and contract negotiation information
There is no single consistent source we know of that provides this information. You will have to try to locate it by searching the recommended databases or the airline's website.
