Borrowing Materials (Patrons From Other Academic Institutions)

The Hunt Library has reciprocal borrowing agreements with three area colleges and universities: Daytona State College (DSC), Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU), and the University of Central Florida (UCF). Students from these institutions may present their valid college ID card and a current photo ID to obtain a community patron status card from the Hunt Library. The card will be activated immediately and the new patron may check out up to two (2) items. For each subsequent visit, patrons must present their community patron card as well as their institution ID. Patrons from other institutions are expected to adhere to the Hunt Library Code of Conduct. Borrowing privileges may be denied if the code of conduct is violated.

Borrowing privileges for Reciprocal Borrowers are suspended when one item is overdue or any fines are owed (see policy on Overdues, Fines, and Lost Materials for more information). Fines accrue at .50 per day per item. Lost items are charged at the replacement cost of the item plus a $15.00 processing fee.
