Worldwide Campuses and Worldwide Online Students

Responsibility For Materials

Worldwide Campus and Worldwide Online Students may only borrow media titles in conjunction with an Worldwide Campus. The Campus must approve all student media requests in writing (email) before a request will be processed.The Campus may also ask students to complete a Student Borrower Agreement.

All videos and DVDs are checked out to the Campus. If the Student Borrower Agreement is not completed, the Campuses will be responsible for any lost, damaged, or overdue materials borrowed by students.

Media requests will be shipped to:

Lead Time / Advanced Notice: 10 Working Days

Without enough advance notice, we will be unable to guarantee delivery by the requested dates. Regardless, we will always try our best to deliver your videos/DVDs by the date on which you need them.

Loan Period: 30 Days (Includes Shipping Time)

There are no extensions or renewals for videos and DVDs checked-out to Worldwide Campus and Worldwide Online Students.

Return of Materials

The Campus will be responsible for returning materials directly to the Hunt Library. Media must be returned via UPS or USPS Priority/Express Mail because these services provide tracking numbers. The proper insurance is also required for your return shipment.

NOTE:

  1. Videos and DVDs cost between $20 and $1000, and they must be insured for the value noted on the Worldwide Media shipping forms. Contact your closest UPS or USPS representative with questions.
  2. Campus staff must retain the tracking numbers for all shipments. The library may require these tracking numbers should the materials be lost or damaged in transit.

Overdue Notices

Overdue notices are distributed via email after the 30-day circulation period has expired.
