International Campus Faculty

Responsibility For Materials

All videos and DVDs are checked out to the Campus. The Campuses are responsible for any lost, damaged, or overdue materials.

Shipping

Media orders can be shipped to:

  • The Campus
  • An APO or FPO personal address

International Campus faculty that have an APO or FPO personal address can request that their video/DVD shipment(s) be sent directly to these addresses. If an APO or FPO address is not specified, Worldwide Media Services will automatically send the shipment to the appropriate Campus.

Your Campus will be notified of all media shipments that are sent to any faculty member’s personal address. Your Campus Director will also receive copies of all email correspondence and overdue notices for all media shipments sent to a personal APO or FPO address.

NOTE:

  1. All media orders bound for Europe will be sent via the United States Post Office.
  2. We will not send items to non-APO/PSC personal addresses.

Lead Time / Advanced Notice: 15 Working Days

Without enough advanced notice, we will be unable to guarantee delivery by the requested dates. Regardless, we will always try our best to deliver your videos/DVDs by the date on which you need them.

Loan Period: 45 Days (Includes Shipping Time)

An extension on the circulation period can be requested, but extensions are not guaranteed.   Extensions will be only granted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Hunt Library via email at library@erau.edu to request an extension.

Return of Materials

Faculty members are responsible for returning materials directly to the Hunt Library. Some Campuses may also be willing to take responsibility for returning library materials. Media must be returned via USPS Express Mail because it provides a tracking number. The proper insurance and customs forms will also be required for your return shipment.

Return materials to:

ERAU
Hunt Library – Worldwide Media Services
600 S. Clyde Morris Blvd.
Daytona Beach, FL 32114

NOTE:

  1. Videos and DVDs cost between $20 and $1000, and they must be insured for the value noted on the Worldwide Media shipping forms. See your closest USPS representative with questions.
  2. On the USPS customs form, be sure to write that the package includes “educational materials” bound for an educational institution. Failure to do so may incur additional shipping charges. See your closest USPS representative with questions.
  3. Faculty/Campuses must retain the tracking number for all shipments. The library may require these tracking numbers should the materials be lost or damaged in transit.

Overdue Notices

Overdue notices are distributed via email to the Campus after the 45-day circulation period has expired.
